Anjum is a PhD student in the Population Biology Graduate Group and a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. She received her BS in Biological Sciences from San Jose State University and her MS in Integrative Biology at San Francisco State University. Her research interests include plant functional ecology, population dynamics, community ecology, restoration, and land management.
