Brooke is a PhD Student in the Ecology Graduate Group and originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. Brooke graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a BS in Biological Sciences and a minor in Statistics. She then went on to receive a Masters in Biology from the University of New Mexico, investigating how climate change affects recruitment dynamics of foundation species at ecotones. Her research interests include seedling ecology, grasslands, restoration, and functional traits.
